From the Collection:

This collection is composed primarily of correspondence, as well as travel requests, blueprints and floorplans, financial statements, and budget records. The collection documents the activities of Chief Deputy Director of the Los Angeles County Natural History Museum, Mark A. Rodriguez from 1982-1995 and incldues correspondence regarding Museum logo changes, staff appointments, maintenance and repairs, exhibitions development, Hancock Park, and division reports. The collection also documents Proposition 13 (Jarvis-Gann Initiative), a 1987 Soviet visitor program, and affirmative action hiring programs.
